About

Italian software house, industrial vision.

Sun Tech Srl has been building enterprise software for logistics, automation and mobile computing for years. Our approach combines vertical technical expertise, integration capability, and an understanding of AI as an operational tool — not a slogan.

Vision

AI that works alongside processes

We're not interested in demo-only AI. We care about AI that reads a blurred label from 3 meters in a 4°C warehouse, validates a lot in real time, and flags a non-conformity before it ships. Inside processes, not on top of them.

Approach

Enterprise software engineering

Clean architectures, operational continuity, serious documentation, real field tests. We work with companies that can't afford downtime: code quality is a feature, not just a habit.

Specialization

Verticalized on logistics and industry

We're not generalists. WMS, WES, WCS, Zebra terminals, ERP integration (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, Italian ERPs), Siemens/Rockwell/Omron PLCs. We know the standards, the protocols, the constraints. We get to the problem without detours.

What sets us apart

The difference from a generalist software house

Many companies can write code. Few can do it for industrial contexts, where a production bug means a stopped line or a warehouse that can't ship.

Real verticalization

We don't pitch for generic projects. We focus on logistics, automation, industrial data capture and enterprise mobile. Our team speaks the language of those who run a warehouse, not just those who read user stories.

Proprietary products + delivery expertise

We're not just a development agency. We maintain Kazam and Cattura as our own products, so when we integrate them into a project we know where the limits are and how to work past them without fragile workarounds.

Operational continuity as a priority

We write code for systems that can't stop. Serious tests, active monitoring, emergency runbooks, direct support channels: it's not "nice to have", it's our baseline.

Stable team, not rotating consultants

Whoever starts a project takes it to production and follows it in operations. No traumatic handovers between pre-sales, delivery and support teams. The same engineer you met at the start answers when you call.

How we approach projects

A working method designed for industry

Generic Agile processes aren't enough when integrating a WMS with line PLCs and field terminals. We adapted the method.

Discovery on-site, not in meeting rooms

Before writing a line of code, we go where the software will run. We interview those doing the real work, not just those describing it.

Binding technical document

We deliver a proposal with architecture, required integrations, risks and costs. No "depends on" left open until the final invoice.

Prototype before commit

We validate critical hypotheses in the field (real AI readings in real conditions, ERP latency, device compatibility) before committing to the full project.

Incremental delivery with continuous UAT

The client sees and validates every release, not just the final one. Surprises surface early, when they're cheap to solve.

On-site supervised go-live

On cutover day our engineer is on the client's site. Direct channel open for the first two weeks of operations.

Evolutionary maintenance, not just tickets

The software keeps evolving with the business: new regulations, new clients, new warehouses. Roadmap agreed annually with the client.
